This weekend, I partcipated in a two-day field recording workshop sponsered by London Media Arts Association (LOMAA). The workshop was lead by London artists/researchers/Audio Lodge collaborators, Troy Ouellette and Kevin Curtis-Norcross. While the class was designed for the novice, it was lead with such ease that by the end of the first day we had already built a parabolic mic, a water-proof contact mic and a a wind muff for our recorder. Day two, we ventured out to collect some sound recordings which we ended the class editting. I will upload some samples soon..
